Support Dawson In His Preparation Towards The Pros

Hello everyone, my name is Dawson Pierre. I am a student-athlete at the University of Concordia. I have been playing football for the past 15 years and I just finished my senior year at Concordia. Since I got initiated into football by my older brother at the age of 8, I immediately fell in love with the sport. From that point, I made all the sacrifices possible for me to reach my ultimate goal of playing professional football.

To be able to reach that goal, I went through a lot of sacrifices, hard work and dedication. With the end of my senior season, I was blessed to receive an official invitation for the National Canadian Combine, which gives me the opportunity to be in the CFL and NFL draft and to eventually get signed by a team. This has always been a dream of mine and now I am one step closer from it.

Sadly, with the responsibility of being a student-athlete and supporting my family as much as I can financially. I do not have the funds required to help me have a great preparation for my combine. All the money raised will be going towards my training, nutrition, recovery and more. To be this close to my dream is an opportunity that not all athletes can get but with some help, I am confident in my capabilities of making it to the pro level and be successful.

Bonjour à tous, je m'appelle Dawson Pierre. Je suis étudiant-athlète à l'Université de Concordia. Je joue au football depuis 15 ans et je viens de terminer ma dernière année à Concordia. Depuis que j’ai été initié au football par mon frère aîné à l’âge de 8 ans, je suis immédiatement tombé amoureux de ce sport. À partir de ce moment-là, j’ai fait tous les sacrifices possibles pour atteindre mon objectif ultime : jouer au football professionnel.

Pour pouvoir atteindre cet objectif, j’ai fait beaucoup de sacrifices, de travail acharné et de dévouement. À la fin de ma saison senior, j'ai eu la chance de recevoir une invitation officielle pour le Combine National Canadien, ce qui me donne l'opportunité de participer au repêchage de la LCF et de la NFL et éventuellement d'être signé par une équipe. Cela a toujours été un de mes rêves et maintenant j’en suis un peu plus proche.

Malheureusement, j’ai la responsabilité d’être étudiant-athlète et de soutenir ma famille autant que je le peux financièrement. Je n'ai pas les fonds nécessaires pour m'aider à bien me préparer en route de mon repêchage. Tout l’argent récolté servira à mon entraînement, ma nutrition, ma récupération et bien plus encore. Être si proche de mon rêve est une opportunité que tous les athlètes ne peuvent pas avoir, mais avec un peu d'aide, j'ai confiance en mes capacités pour atteindre le niveau professionnel et réussir.
