Support Deb and Goli's fresh start after the Eaton Fire

Help Deb, Goli, and their two pups get back on their feet!

Concerned friends and friends of the arts now have a way to assist:

These two wonderful friends lost everything in the Eaton Fire in Altadena. Please help them get their lives back in order as they navigate this devastating time.

Their more than three-decade labor-of-love project to restore their mid-century modern Altadena home ended with the fire destroying the home down to nothing but a dirt pad. Deb and Goli left hurriedly with only their pets and the clothes on their backs. Art Photographer and Architecture enthusiast Deb Smith lost her own art work, her noteworthy collected art and, as a DJ, her entire album collection and all equipment. Interior Designer Goli Karimi lost all her work resources, her plans, their vintage furnishings, all clothing, everything, gone.

Essentially, they are starting over and need the basics just to continue.

ANY amount you can offer, big or small, would be of great help. They are sheltered for now with a friend, but that is only a temporary setup. They are looking to rent in the area, but as you can imagine, options are going fast. We will keep you updated on a regular basis. Let’s do what we can for these lovely folks and their two dogs, Murdoch and Maud.
