Support Deb Cope's Medical Journey

My name is Ally Fitzgerald, and I am an ECC resident at North Carolina State College of Veterinary Medicine where I had the pleasure of meeting and working alongside Deb Cope. Deb is one of the most experienced veterinary technicians that NC-State has, and is the face of NCSU ICU. Deb is the true ICU warrior! She is the person that everyone goes to when they have a tough central line to place, female urinary catheter or novice ECC resident trying to troubleshoot literally anything in the ICU when they are starting out. Deb has made me a better doctor, has been there fighting alongside me to save numerous patients lives in the ICU, has been a shoulder to lean on and has been an amazing friend to me.

Unfortunately, last Sunday she ended up in the ER with difficulty breathing and ended up needing to have an emergent chest tube placed. She had a lengthy stay with several diagnostics performed. The doctors are still working on an answer as to why the fluid has accumulated around her lungs.

I am hoping to raise money to help offset the cost of medical bills related to her recent hospital visits, for future medical bills and assistance.
