Support Deb Kline

Hi, my name is Erin and I am fundraising for my friend Deb. I have known Deb for 18 years and she one of the best people I know. Read on and I am sure you will agree.

Deb has been a single mother and dedicated teacher for 29 years. She has given selflessly to raise her daughter on her own, teach young children prek-2nd grade and mentor new teachers, including myself many years ago. She is an amazing teacher and has taught 3 of my children as well as countless others.

Unfortunately, over the last few years she has been battling cancer as well. She went to work each day her health permitted, while undergoing chemotherapy, radiation, and after multiple surgeries. Even when people would tell her to rest and recover she would be at work and be there for her students.

Her daughter has been by her side helping her with after care and taking her to multiple appointments and therapies.

A few weeks ago, as the cancer has continued to spread, Deb made the very difficult choice to enter into home hospice care.

During this time medical bills and cost of supplies have become overwhelming. Meanwhile, her daughter was fired for missing work to take care of her mom.

No family deserves to be going through this. This fundraiser is to help keep a roof over their heads, as well as help pay the pile of medical bills that continue to come in.

Deb has given so much to our community through her many years of service as a teacher, please help support her in this most difficult time.
