Support Debbie & family through her cancer battle
Donation protected
Debbie Videtto-Halte grew up in a section of Flushing, Queens referred to as "The Hill". She graduated St. Anns Class of 1976. Then graduated Monsignor Scanlan HS Class of 1980. She then moved to Colorado with her parents , where she lives to this day with her husband, Joe , daughter Randy and her husband and granddaughter Penelope.
Debbie has been the primary caretaker to her parents and older brother for the past years. Her father , Jerry, passed a few years back. Since then she has moved her mother & brother into her home to care for them. In November 2020, she was diagnosed with endometrial cancer, which has spread to her stomach where a large, inoperable tumor was found. Cancer cells were also found in fluid they needed to drain from her lungs. She now uses oxygen and will need to do 6 chemo treatments in hopes to shrink the tumor so it maybe removed. Debbie has been the main provider for her family, since her husband was put on disability. Joe is now caring for Debbie, her mother & brother along with himself. She will try to continue to work as she goes through treatments, as there are more bills to be paid coming in.
On a more personal note, Debbie has been one of the best friends Donna Gloeggler-Rizzo & I have had in our lives. We ask that , if you are able to do so, to donate what you can to show some love & support to Debbie & her family to help them through this difficult time. I know that the Halte family is extremely grateful for any assistance they may receive. Donna & I also thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
