Support Debbie Paine's Hospice Journey

Hello! My name is Jody Madden, and I am starting this Go Fund Me for my beautiful friend, Debbie Paine.

I moved to The Golden Isles during Covid and met her at a rollerskating rink during a homeschool event. Not long after we met, her breast cancer came back.

One day, she met me at the front gate of my farm and was leaning against the hood of her car and said, “What am I going to do?” I answered, “Well, you are going to surround yourself with a tribe of women who will walk this out with you and when it’s over — those same women are going to be here on the other side to love your children…” Then we stared at each other and I said, “I’m in.”

I made Debbie a promise that day that I would love her through this and always be here for her children. So tonight, it is with tremendous sorrow that I create this Go Fund Me to ask for a your help!

Debbie is beginning hospice care and I would love to equip this family with the ability to be together during the holidays and still be able to keep up with bills, as Chris has been out of work for months in order to care for Debbie and make the most of their diminishing time together.

A meal train has also been organized for this family. Will share the info asap!
