Support Debbie's Love for Animals

My name is Julianna Torre, and Debbie was like a grandmother to me. She loved animals and especially dogs! I am setting up this go fund me to raise funds that will go straight to the humane society to help support all of the animals that are looking for homes!

Debra Jean Bell, 68, of Eden passed away Tuesday, July 16 at her son Jason’s home.

Born August 15, 1955, she was the daughter of the late William and Marjorie Bell.

Debra graduated from Caribou High School in Caribou, Maine. She recently retired from Cato Gas & Oil, Inc. after 35 years of service.

Debra was highly creative and imaginative, with a love for fantasy, dragons, and faeries. She loved working with her hands in her flower garden, crocheting and building doll houses. Debra loved nature, animals, and was a farm girl at heart. She was very compassionate, always helped where she could, and was a hard worker.

Survivors include her son, Jason Plaskon, of Salisbury, and two sisters, Tonya Ossenfort and Kim Bell, both of Maine. She was preceded in death by her brother, Daniel Bell, and loving dogter, Widget "Widgy Woo" Plaskon.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 in Holloway Funeral Home, Salisbury. A visitation will be held Tuesday from 1:00 – 2:00 PM in the funeral home.
