My family and I experienced the loss of my mother, Deborah Lynn Boddie Holland. I am my mother's only child. She turned 70 years old this September, but on October 26th, 2024, at 4:55 am, my mother took her last breaths. Losing a parent is hard; I don’t wish this on my worst enemy! Nothing will ever prepare you for the loss of a mother; it's a feeling I can’t explain!

My mother always tried to prepare me for this moment. She also wanted to make sure I didn’t have a burden on my shoulders when this time came. However, as everyone knows, funerals are expensive, and sometimes costs go up over the years. Yesterday's price isn’t today's price! I am short on my mother’s burial expenses.
