Support Deborah's battle against Lung and Breast Cancer

Deborah's Fight

For the past 25 years, my sister Deborah has been like a personal welcoming committee for everyone moving to Los Angeles, making them feel at home. She has always been a pillar of strength for her family and community, never asking for anything, but instead, giving everything she had to those around her.

Recently, we received the devastating news that Deborah has been diagnosed with invasive lung and breast cancer. This news has shocked us all, especially since she has always lived a healthy lifestyle, never smoking or doing drugs.

Deborah has already undergone two bronchoscopy procedures to remove mediastinal lymph nodes, a biopsy of the lung tumor, the removal of a sentinel lymph node, and an emergency breast lumpectomy to stop the cancer from spreading. Today, she had 3/4ths of her right lung removed. And this is just the beginning—she still has to endure a double mastectomy and additional surgeries and treatments scheduled through February.

Deborah has spent her entire life helping others, and now she needs our help. She has been out of work for months, battling for her life. Deborah has shown so much love and compassion for everyone she’s met. Now, it’s our turn to show our love and support for her.
