Support Deb's Legal Battle and Recovery

My name is Michael Mallon, a dear friend of Deb Scott. You may know Deb as someone who has been there to lead and support her community, sharing wilderness adventures through education, leadership, and joy. Tragically, this past July, Deb was assaulted by her abusive brother, resulting in multiple fractures, blunt force trauma, and a broken tooth.

The most shocking part of this ordeal was that her brother managed to convince a police officer that Deb was at fault, and Deb was unjustly charged. For six months, Deb has been without secure shelter, self-isolated, fighting for justice and recovery. Although exoneration is expected, the financial burden of medical bills, legal fees, and other costs has become overwhelming. With limited retirement income, covering these expenses alone is impossible.

Support from the community is needed to help cover the costs of medical and legal care, allowing Deb to focus on healing and rebuilding her life. Let's rally around Deb in support and generosity to lift her back up to the person we know and love!
