Support Deepest Corners Film Project

Donation protected
I am raising funds to help supplement the Filmmaker Grant I received from Inwood Artworks to make a short film I wrote titled "Deepest Corners." Our deadline is to shoot, produce and edit the film by December 2025 with the intention that it be presented at the Inwood Artworks Film Festival in Spring of 2026 as well as to submit to other film festivals throughout the country.

What's the film about?

“Deepest Corners” is an exploration of what happens to the dreams of our youth when our lives move in a different direction. Where do they go? What do we do with them? How do we reconcile with those feelings of loss? The film tells the story of Annie, 35-year-old former dancer, who plows through each day desperately wanting to be the best mother, wife and provider she can be. In her current life, she has removed dance from her life entirely. Even in her dreams she keeps it behind closed doors until one day she encounters a person from her past who makes her confront her feelings. She must decide if she’ll continue to lock her dreams away or allow that part of her to come to the surface and reintegrate creativity into her new busy life.
