Support Deja to Go Study in Spain
Donation protected
Hello! My name is Deja Nicholas and I am a senior at Lewis and Clark College. This May, I will graduate with my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and plan to enroll in a post-baccalaureate Pre-Med program, which will eventually lead to applying to Medical School. My dream is to become the first doctor in my family history.
The purpose of this GoFundMe is to ask for your support as I take the next steps in pursuit of my dream to become a doctor. I have been accepted into The Atlantis Project, a very competitive program that pairs pre-med students with doctors across the world to obtain firsthand shadowing experience whilst learning about another culture.
This August, I will have the privilege to travel overseas to Santiago, Spain for three weeks to satisfy my pre-med application requirements. I will have the opportunity to shadow international physicians, rotate weekly through a variety of specialties and tutor English to hospital staff. When I am not volunteering in the hospital, I will be participating in several group excursions to become familiar with Spain’s culture and way of life.
Participating in this project will help validate my dreams and will give me a once in a lifetime opportunity to travel to another country, which I have never done before, to experience the medical field outside of the United States.
In order to be a part of this internship, I am asking for financial support to fund the cost of the program and the round trip flight for Spain. With your support of my journey becoming a pediatrician, you will in turn be helping future children
Thank you for taking the time to read this and for considering giving towards my program! Please share this page and feel free to message me with any questions!
