Support Delia Balderas' Family in Their Time of Need

We humbly reach out to you with open hearts. In full transparency, we never imagined we would need to ask for help in this way. Yet, for our dear mother, it is the least—and most—we can do. Our beloved mother, with her generous spirit, unknowingly left behind a means to assist with the overwhelming financial burden we now face. However, due to circumstances beyond our control, those funds are not immediately accessible and will not cover the urgent needs of this difficult time.
Her giving nature extended even beyond her time here on Earth, always wanting to support her children. If you feel moved to contribute, no matter how small, words cannot express the gratitude we would feel. For those unable to give, your prayers are a priceless gift to our family during this season of profound heartache.
Our Heavenly Father called His beloved daughter, Delia (Rosa) Balderas, home to her eternal rest on Thursday, November 14th. She blessed this world with her presence since February 9th, 1961.
Delia was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother (“Buela”), sister, and daughter who built a legacy rooted in faith and love for Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. As “Buela,” she delighted in bringing joy to her grandchildren, sharing wisdom, and offering her steadfast love. As a mother, she encouraged her children to pursue their passions in music, art, sports, and more, supporting them through parenthood and celebrating their achievements. As a wife and sister, she loved deeply, through sickness and health, treasuring moments of laughter and shared memories.
Delia lived a life filled with kindness and generosity, always ensuring those around her felt seen and loved. She had a gift for cooking and found joy in serving others through her delicious meals. Her laughter was infectious, filling every room she entered with warmth and joy. She embraced life’s adventures, big and small, alongside her family.
Delia is survived by her husband, Efren Balderas; her children, Imelda, Hilda, Efren Jr., and Fernando Balderas; her grandchildren, Issiah, Christian, and Gavin Hamilton, Nicholai and Jaxon Deadrick, Mackenzie Balderas, and Githyan, Jaythmar, and Yarethxy Balderas; her daughter-in-law, Thayra Cardenas; and her siblings in Chicago, IL, and Mexico. She is reunited in Heaven with her daughter, Delia Balderas, and her parents.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 21st, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by a service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant, WI. Burial will follow at 2:30 PM at Old Holy Cross Cemetery in Racine, WI.
Thank you for your kindness, prayers, and support during this most challenging time.
