Support Delma Myers in Her Time of Loss

On behalf of my grandmother, Delma Myers, who lost her loving husband, Douglas Myers, we are seeking funds to help put my grandfather Doug to rest and to help take care of my grandma also.

Douglas Roy Myers joined many other family members on September 5th, 2024, after battling heart, kidney, and lung disease on Lopez Island. Doug's love for his family, birds like eagles, hockey, wizards, baseball, football, and knowledge of genealogy & model trains will be forever missed. He has many family members and friends that would love to come to his beautiful home on Lopez Island to be there to support his wife, my grandma. It would ease her heart so much to have family and friends join her to say goodbye to her supportive husband.

His memorial service will be a small gathering held on Lopez Island at Lopez Union Cemetery Association located at 311 Davis Bay Road, Wednesday September 11th, 2024 at noon. Food to follow at the Islander restaurant located on the island at 2864 Fisherman Bay Rd. We will also have a celebration of life for him at the end of November for family and friends who aren’t able to make it to the service this month.
