Support Demetrius Franklin's Final Farewell

Hello family and friends. My name is Crystal Elmore. I am the mother of Demetrius “Meech” Franklin. It is with great sadness that I am even having to write these words, but as most know, my son unexpectedly passed away on 9/13/2024 after an 11 day battle of fighting for his life.

On September 3rd, 2024, Meech left his house that morning and went to work. While at work, Meech suffered an allergic reaction from cats being in the building, that triggered him to suffer from respiratory arrest and then cardiac arrest. He was put on life support, however, due to the length of time his brain suffered without oxygen, he was unable to recover.

This loss has struck us all hard and as we come to terms with the passing of Demetrius, we are faced with the difficult task of arranging his final farewell. As a mother, there isn’t anything we wouldn’t do for our children. It has been hard facing the fact that this is the final thing I will have to do for my baby and unfortunately, I can’t do it alone.

Funds raised will go towards the funeral service, cremation costs, transportation, etc. Your generosity will make a meaningful difference in ensuring that Demetrius will be celebrated and laid to rest properly.
