Support Demia Mitchell's Recovery Journey

Dear friends, family, and kind strangers,

I’m reaching out today with a heavy heart to share a difficult and personal story, and to ask for your help. My name is Demia Mitchell, and I am the Art Teacher and Coach at Callaway Middle School. On Sunday, December 15, I was tragically involved in a hit-and-run accident while walking as a pedestrian. The injuries I sustained were severe, and I was rushed into emergency surgery.

This has had a profound impact on my life, both physically and emotionally. I am unable to return to work at this time due to the extent of my injuries, and as a result, I am in need of financial support to cover medical bills, everyday expenses, and other necessities.
