Support Democracy: Fund Satellite Imaging

Raising funds to pay for a 30cm satellite image of the CECOT terrorism confinement center over 8 wavelength bands, taken on April 16 2025. If this data reveals anything requiring further investigation, we will use additional funds to task a satellite to take further imaging of the site. All purchases will be transparent (see quote and receipt below) and all unused funds will be returned.

Due process and human rights have not always been enforced by the US government, but we the people have always pushed to expand the circle of who is included and who enjoys these rights.

Now is a moment where these rights are being eroded once again, and as our fellow Americans, citizens or not, with criminal records or without, are being sent to CECOT in El Salvador, it becomes our job again to put pressure on the government to respect their due process and human rights.

Hitler dismantled democracy in 53 days. Efforts by groups like 50501 and Indivisible, as well as a mostly-functioning independent judiciary, have provided enough resistance and friction that American democracy still somewhat survives, almost 90 days in.

Even if this project finds nothing, what we are doing here is reminding the administration that we will hold them accountable, that we are watching, that we will not look the other way.

Democracy only fails if we let it.
