Denise’s insurance unfortunately isn’t eligible to cover the cost of chemo treatment and visits to the oncologist, each chemo treatment is 1600$, and each visit to see her oncologist is paid of of pocket to around 150$.. Denise has already been transported via helicopter and ambulance as well which has totaled up to at least 22k in medical expenses not counting prescriptions for pain management and her cancer.
