Desert Rock Climbers Preschool is a unique online program dedicated to providing the best opportunities for all children, especially those with disabilities. Founded by Felicia, who herself has a cognitive disability, the preschool is built on a foundation of understanding, support, and inclusion. Felicia’s vision is to create a loving environment where every child feels special and empowered to achieve great things, regardless of their unique needs.

The program offers American Sign Language, Spanish, and English as languages, along with civics, history lessons, and cultural appreciation days. Each month, children learn about different cultures around the world, participate in virtual field trips, and enjoy music, puppet shows, cooking, math, geography, science, writing, arts and crafts and more. Felicia is a certified lifelong educator, committed to giving every child the resources they need to succeed. Her goal is to expand from an online preschool to in-person sessions and eventually to Desert Rock Climbers Academy, incorporating elementary grades.

Felicia is seeking startup funding to keep the website running, advertise to enroll students, purchase supplies for both teacher and students, and develop curriculum. She also wants to offer scholarships to low-income families so every child can access her inclusive program. The funds will cover business startup costs and materials, student supplies, and scholarships for low-income families. This support will help keep the online program running, support curriculum development, and make the preschool accessible to all children. As a sole proprietor I believe in investing in children's futures. My daughter is reading at a 10th grade level in the 5th grade because of me and my expertise.
