Diane Needs Our Help!
In December 2023, Diane (Wiley) Brantley was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. The stage is yet to be determined. This news would be difficult under the best of circumstances, but Diane has had an especially difficult few years. She is in the midst of a very difficult divorce and is currently living in a rental home with two of her children. Diane has dedicated her life to helping others through her work as a social worker, mental health counselor and grief counselor, but now she needs our help!
Diane is learning about her treatment options, but is scheduled to have mastectomy surgery next week, possibly followed by radiation, chemotherapy and/or hormone blockers. She was barely making ends meet working three jobs, but that will be impossible to continue in the long term with upcoming appointments and surgeries. She is currently working as a mental health counselor full-time in Sarasota at the Veterans Affairs, and part-time at Samaritan Counseling Services and Comprehensive MedPsych.
She has immediate needs to pay her bills so she can focus on her health. She needs financial help to keep a roof over her head, pay her out of pocket medical costs, and keep her car in running order. Diane has been having a lot of medical expenses and her car has 183,000 miles on it and isn’t always reliable. We are hoping to raise $25,000. Please give what you can to help Diane and her family.
