Support Veteran's Family in Their Time of Need

Donation protected
We are absolutely devastated by the passing of Carlton V. Jarmon Jr (62). His legacy is survived by 5 of 6 children, youngest being 14 as well as 8 grandchildren, youngest being 6 months. He was a BRAVE, generous, spirited man and passionate about his family. With his departure, we remain without that pillar of support that felt so constant and empowering. Our hearts are especially heavy since we are without the kindness and laughter of a beautiful soul who would have lifted us up and helped us in these difficult times.

Carlton worked hard throughout his life as a successful contractor to help all of his children but was sidelined about six years ago when an accident forced him into a wheelchair and out of the construction trade he loved so much. Even in his wheelchair he was a force of nature and life, still reaching for every opportunity to make himself and the world around him better.

Any funds collected will be used for:

* Carlton’s youngest son, Carlton III is a student at Penn State University finishing his degree. He was his dad’s primary paid caregiver and has lost his primary source of income and is now at risk of losing his housing. His vehicle needs many repairs that his dad was trying to help him with.

* Support for Carlton’s Youngest Daughter, Maya. At only 14, Maya has just lost her father and we need help with ongoing support for her including the cost of sports related activities to help keep her focused as she deals with her grief.

* Travel related costs for another son located on the West Coast to attend his dad's funeral

* Help for Marsha who is now faced with the struggle of raising their kids without the support of their father

* Multiple unspoken needs unique to the challenges this family has experienced over the years as he became progressively more ill.

If you feel it in your heart to help us, we would appreciate it so very much.

Viewing for our beloved veteran starts at 9am and Funeral is at 10:30am at DeBaptiste Funeral Home in West Chester, PA on Thursday, 9/19/24. The burial will be at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery as he was a military veteran of the US Army.
