Support Dimitri's Legacy and Family

My name is Beverly Benitez and I am one of Dimitri Benitez's children. I am the next of kin and will be formalizing his arrangements. His mother, brothers, children, and grandchildren loved and cared for him dearly. I covet your support and prayers during this time as we grieve, remember, and honor my father's life.

My father Dimitri Benitez had great love for his family in Guatemala and in the states, children, grandchildren, community, and clients. He was an avid BMX/motocross enthusiast and also enjoyed hobbies of racing RC cars. He made one too many funny voices of the three stooges, loved laughing, and telling corny dad jokes. He loved his life and the support he had around him.

My father passed away unexpectedly at George Washington Hospital in the early morning hours of July 7th after succumbing to injuries related to a serious fall. By God's grace, the medical team was able to inform a family member to be with him in spirit during his passing and he was hand in hand with a close friend so he did not depart alone.

Unfortunately, my father did not make preparations for or after his absence. There are many expenses in regards to preparing his arrangements. Lightening and hopefully removing the financial burden on his family would assist us in honoring his legacy and are given the opportunity to grieve and celebrate his life fully.
