12/01/22 Update:
Tyler made it through several days of grueling tests at St. David’s Hospital after suffering a debilitating stroke at age 44. Yesterday, he moved to an inpatient rehabilitation center where he will be for several weeks as he continues his difficult journey of recovery.
We know it will be a long road before he can get back to doing what he loves as a passionate artist and a talented and admired Austin DJ.
Thank you to all who continue to show up for Tyler with encouraging words, selfless gifts of time and treasure, support for his family, and other amazing acts of love. We are so grateful for the outpouring of support and your incredible generosity.

Our beloved Tyler Olson suffered a stroke on Friday, November 25. He is currently in the hospital and has lost the use and motor function of his left arm and hand. His legs are in better shape but his left leg is impacted as well.
Tyler is facing the costs of 2 emergency room visits, a hospital stay of 3 days so far and numerous procedures, an ambulance ride and at least 2 weeks of therapy at an in residence rehab facility, and this is just the beginning of his journey on a long road back to health. He will likely miss months of upcoming work once he is released from rehab while his body heals and he relearns some of the most basic motor functions that has been able to do so easily and normally throughout his whole life.
Tyler is one of the kindest most wonderful friends and people I know. He consistently goes out of his way to be a thoughtful, caring and consistent friend. He has an incredible sense of humor, that he always keeps ready to share to brighten the mood or lighten a friend’s load. Not to mention his artistic talent, he has over 25 years of DJing and music knowledge that make him one of the greatest DJs of all time.
Please donate what you can to help support Tyler as he has loved and supported us in so many ways over the years. Give a little or a lot, any amount is helpful $1, $5, $10, $20 or more if you are in a position to do so.
Tyler also needs emotional support right now, company, friendship, caring and will likely need help with meals and other such things when he is released from rehab. If you can donate your time or any of those things, that is also incredibly appreciated.
We wish Tyler a swift and seamless recovery and will be there with him all the way on this road to healing and what will certainly be life changing but hopefully not life altering.
We love you Tyler aka MadCoins, greatest DJ of all time. Mixcloud.com/DJMadCoins
