Support Documentary Exploring Indiana's Metal Scene

Hi, we’re Xavier and Justin from the Underground Metal YouTube channel. We’re seeking funding for a documentary that showcases Indiana’s Metal Scene, which acts a safe, accepting space for people from all backgrounds all across state. We want to explore what it is about this music that brings people together and why Indiana is such a hotbed for Metal. We love this music and this scene and want to share it with as many people as possible.

Our approach is inspired by the classic documentary The Decline of Western Civilization (1981). We are going to film interviews with bands, venue owners, scene figures, and fans from across Indiana to paint a portrait of the scene and show why it’s so special to so many people.

We are seeking funding to cover travel expenses, production equipment (microphones, stands, etc.), and distribution costs.
