Support Dominique Through Her Cancer Journey.

Dominique’s world was turned upside down during a routine chest X-ray required for her visa. What she thought would be a straightforward process led to an unexpected diagnosis. Doctors discovered a mass on her lung, and after urgent tests at Randwick Hospital, Dominique was diagnosed with Stage 2 Primary Mediastinal B-Cell Lymphoma (PMBCL).

This type of cancer requires intensive treatment, including at least six rounds of chemotherapy, steroids, and other medications. Unfortunately, this means Dominique will be unable to work for at least 3–6 months during her treatment. Dominique works full time a lead educator in a daycare centre and due to a weakened immune system from the chemotherapy, she is unable to work as she is especially vulnerable to infections, making it unsafe for her to continue working in such a high-risk environment.

We’ve created this GoFundMe to rally behind Dominique and provide her with the financial support she needs during this incredibly challenging time. Donations will go toward helping her cover essential costs like rent, bills, medical expenses, and everyday living costs while she focuses on her recovery.
