Support Domini's Fight Against Cancer

Domini has been a loving mother to many throughout her life. She has been known to stand up for what she believes in and keep things together when necessary. She is well-loved by her children Steffen, Elizabeth, Christian, and Meagan, by her grandchildren, Murphy, Seamus, Finley, and Corinne, and by the long web of friends, extended family, and chosen family she has shared her life with over the years.

Domini has been known to extend her warm heart by listening to you over a fresh cup of coffee and a warm meal. As long as I have known her, her door has always been open to anyone who needs it. She has touched many hearts throughout her life so far, and now I am hoping that her good karma will be paid forward in her time of need.

In the past few months, the family became concerned when Domini began experiencing cognitive difficulties. After a long series of testing at Mass General, we were no short of heartbroken by the results. They concluded that it was lung cancer that had metastasized to her adrenal glands and brain. At this current time, she has completed a series of radiation treatment for her brain, and has begun chemotherapy. In the meantime, the family remains optimistic and hopeful as the care plan unfolds.

The future for Steve and Domini involves many trips off-cape. Their business will be closed until further notice, and in order to keep things afloat, they will need financial help from the community.
