Support Donald and Darla's Family After Tragic Fire

On March 29, 2025, my uncle Donald, aunt Darla, and their family lost everything in a tragic house fire. While we are thankful that everyone is safe, their lives have been turned upside down. Sadly, their beloved dog didn’t survive the fire, and many irreplaceable items. The only thing that was savaged was a few photos and my uncles fathers bible.

Darla is currently in the ICU for unrelated health issues. She lost her leg to diabetes last year and has been bravely battling progressive Alzheimer’s disease. The fire struck while Darla was at the hospital for chest pain, Donald was working on building a handicap ramp for a family, and the children were out for dinner. By the time they returned home, it was too late to save anything.

This family of six, including their daughter and her family who also lived in the home, has always gone above and beyond for others in the community. Even at the scene of the fire, they were trying to help others in need. Now, they need our help.

In addition to monetary donations, the family is in urgent need of the following items:

For the Older Man (Loves casual, comfortable clothing):

• Pants: Size 33/30

• Shirts: Extra Large (Prefers blue jeans, pocket tees, or flannels)

• Socks: Size 12

• Shoes: Size 12

• Underwear: Large

For the Older Woman (In a wheelchair, prefers gowns or tees):

• Shirts: Size Large

• Pants: Size Medium or Shorts

• Underwear: Size 7

• Shoes: Size 7

• Nightgowns (Thin material, not too hot): Size Large/XL

For the Medium-Aged Woman (Loves black or band tees):

• Shirts: Size XL

• Pants: Size Medium or Shorts

• Underwear: Size 7

• Shoes: Size 9

• Socks

For the 11-Year-Old Girl (Loves anime, Twilight, Squishmallows, Deadpool, and art supplies):

• Shirts: Size XL-2X (Prefers black or graphic tees)

• Pants: Medium/Large (Stretchy, not tight)

• Undies: Large

• Shoes: Size 9

• Socks

• Slippers/Slides (Likes slip-on styles like Nike)

Additionally, the family is in urgent need of:

• Toiletries (toothpaste, shampoo, soap, etc.)

• Blankets and Pillows

• Gift cards or any financial contributions to help them rebuild and purchase what they need.

This family has lost so much, but with your support, we can help them rebuild their lives.
