It is with heavy hearts that we share that Don Newman Sr. has been diagnosed with kidney cancer. For those who know him, you know that he has dedicated much of his life to serving others, particularly the local youth. Over the years, he has helped more than 2,000 local children earn their driver’s licenses, offering guidance, hilarity, and the opportunity for independence. He has touched countless lives, and his kindness and support have had a lasting impact on our community. He has coached just as many kids throughout various sports, even going so far to become a certified umpire to help when needed.

Now, we’re reaching out to our friends, family, and neighbors to ask for help in supporting him during this incredibly challenging time. As he begins his fight against cancer, the medical expenses are mounting, and we want to ensure he gets the best care possible. The funds raised will go toward his treatment, hospital stays, medications, and other medical costs that are beyond what our family can manage on our own.
