Support Donnie's Road to Recovery

Hello Friends & Family!

We are creating this fundraiser to help financially support Donnie's recovery from his recent medical challenges.

Adonis Imari Santellana Tzortzis (lovingly nicknamed Donnie) is a 14-year-old dude who loves anime, Fortnite, getting on our sister Alani's nerves, and his pets Luna and Luc.

He is an awesome little brother!

Donnie was recently hospitalized due to having many seizures. He was diagnosed with epilepsy and is receiving great care at Dell Children's Hospital in Austin, Texas.

However, during what was supposed to be a routine procedure for a muscle biopsy test, he aspirated, suffered multiple cardiac arrests, and had to be placed on life support.

Since then, Donnie has made a fantastic recovery and shocked his doctors and surgeons with how quickly he bounced back!

Our family couldn't be more grateful for the life-saving procedures his healthcare team performed, and how he's making a full recovery!

But it was a very scary and sad time for our family while he had to be medically sedated, intubated, and placed on heart rhythm and blood oxygenation equipment in the Intensive Care Unit.

Donnie was recently discharged from the Intensive Care Unit and is scheduled to begin physical rehabilitation soon!

My mom Beth and stepdad Thomas have been with him at the hospital every moment of every day - which has gotten in the way of work.

We are creating this fundraiser to help with financial support while Donnie gets better - since my mom and stepdad had to rightfully prioritize Donnie's health over normal work responsibilities.
