Support Dot's Recovery After House Fire
Donation protected
If you have ever had the chance to hang out with Dot Rose Levine or hear them play music, you know they bring so much joy & beauty to this world. On June 25th, Dot's house in West Philly where they've been renting for 12 years, caught fire from a neighboring property. Dot and Aloe the cat got out of the house right away and are safe - but the house will not be habitable for many months, and most of the equipment that is critical to Dot's livelihood has been damaged or destroyed. Much of Dot’s equipment was designed and built by Dot themself. The lost equipment is conservatively valued at over $35,000, and was regrettably uninsured.
Through the support of their community, Dot has both immediate and long-term temporary housing available to them, but they will need to hire movers, replace equipment, and have funds available to move into new permanent housing in the coming months.
We're hosting this fundraiser to help Dot have all the resources they need to not just survive, but thrive through this disaster. Let's be the supportive community that Dot deserves!
In addition to donating here, you can support Dot by hiring them! Learn more at their website
