Support Doug's Battle Against Pancreatic Cancer
Donation protected
Update:
We are saddened to update that Doug lost his battle to Pancreatic Cancer 2/16/25. He was surrounded by his family at the hospital and passed peacefully. Thoughts and prayers with Meaghan and the kids. Next steps will be to plan a Celebration of Life to celebrate the wonderful man, father and friend Doug was to all.
More details to come but currently giving the family time to process this tragic loss so soon. Thank you for all who have donated and continue to donate to the additional expenses this has brought. We appreciate all the love and support!

Our beloved Doug has been given the most devastating news: he has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer that has already metastasized to other major organs. As you can imagine, this news has been heartbreaking for our family, and we are doing everything we can to help them through this difficult journey.
Doug is an incredible person — a loving father, husband, and friend. He is the type of person who lights up any room with his laughter and infectious spirit. Doug is kind, caring, and always puts others before himself. He works tirelessly to support his family, and his sense of humor never fails to lift the spirits of everyone around him. Doug truly is one of a kind, and his positive energy and warmth make him beloved by everyone who knows him.
Now, Doug needs our support as he faces this difficult challenge. He will need to undergo chemotherapy every other week, which requires frequent trips for treatment, adding significant financial burdens on top of the emotional and physical toll. We are reaching out to our community to help lighten the load, both financially and emotionally, during this incredibly challenging time.
Every bit helps, and your support will make an incredible difference during this time. Doug and our entire family are so grateful for your kindness, love, and generosity. And most importantly we ask for prayers for the entire family during this time.
Thank you for being a part of Doug’s fight — your support means the world to us.
With gratitude, The Canfields
