Support Doug's Long RD To Recovery
Donation protected
A family is in need of help, prayers, and miracles. On Wednesday, July 24th, Doug was at the randolph bowling alley with his grandson and his daughter, who flew in from Vegas to visit, when he had a medical emergency and collapsed. His daughter and fellow friends sprung into action and immediately started performing CPR until the paramedics arrived. They immediately transported him straight to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center where they discovered he had a major heart attack. Doctors performed some extensive and rigorous testing to find out that all of his major arteries from the waist down were blocked and had failed.
A group of 20 surgeons have been working tirelessly trying to save his life. He’s currently in ICU fighting for his life. It is a very emotional and stressful roller coaster for him, the medical team, and the family. He most likely is going to lose both of his legs and require a major heart surgery if they can get him stable enough to where his body will withstand surgeries. There have been small improvements thanks to the medical team's efforts, lots of prayers, and him fighting with everything he has. So we are all praying for a miracle that he pulls through this .
But as the family remains by his side and going forward there is sure to be lots of financial burdens in the roads ahead. So I ask that everybody opens up their hearts and they pray and donate whatever they can to Doug and this wonderful family who has always been a huge part of the community, genuinely caring, loving, and helping family.
C'mon Doug!!!
