Support Dr. Dorothy Ludd Lloyd & Janet After Eaton Firestorm
Donation protected
Please consider donating to my 89-year-old grandmother, Dr. Dorothy Ludd-Lloyd, and my mother, Janet Lloyd Randolph. Both these women were greatly impacted and displaced by the Eaton firestorm.
My grandmother, Dr. Dorothy Ludd-Lloyd, lost her life’s work, historic family archives, and her home of 54 years. Her East Mariposa Altadena home was once the place where six generations of family, friends, and those in need gathered to celebrate every holiday and life-changing events for decades. This horrific loss for Dr. Dorothy Ludd-Lloyd is a loss for many.
In addition to my grandmother’s loss, my mother, Janet Lloyd Randolph, lost her only mode of transportation and half her home. Although a small part of her Altadena Drive home still stands, it has been deemed unlivable. Janet, like her mother, is now displaced and trying to navigate her new normal.
A devastating loss is an understatement, but always putting God first, Dr. Dorothy Ludd-Lloyd and Janet Lloyd Randolph are determined to move forward and to rebuild both homes to ensure that their 86 years of Ludd-Lloyd Legacy continues in the Historic Highlands of Altadena. However, they both need help from their community as they never expected to have to start over at this stage of life.
Any amount you can donate to help is greatly appreciated. All money collected will go directly to Dr. Dorothy Ludd-Lloyd and Janet Lloyd Randolph to support them during this extremely difficult time.
Thank you for your generosity,
