Support Dr. Kamran Khan's Healing Journey

After dedicating much of his life to helping others heal and grow in their health, Dr. Kamran Khan finds himself on the other side of the equation. In February of this year, as he rapidly became paralyzed to the point where he could not even stand, he was taken to the hospital, and a very aggressive brain cancer stemming from CLL was discovered as the cause. Weeks in the neuro-ICU followed, with the first oncologist he saw predicting he had just months to live. Kamran started to make plans for the end of his life — coming to terms with the trials from his past and the dreams for his future — being present for the experiences with dear friends who came from close and afar - many who he had known and loved for decades.

During this time, he's had to cease his work as a professional healer, and plan for his patients’ continued treatments with someone to replace him. It's been, essentially, a time of looking to the prospective final days of life as a unique human being who has always loved to heal, engage, entertain, and warmly host those around him. The beauty of such a life helping others is that so many people stepped up to help Kamran as he lay helpless in a hospital bed and as he continues healing and strengthening in his home environment. Dear ones have continually nurtured him with food, company, and most importantly, positivity and love.

The turning point came through those supportive friendships as he was connected to a clinical trial that would give him real hope — looking forward to reconnecting with a normal life and bringing his dreams back to reality this year….and that is where you come in.

Kamran has given selflessly all these years, changing people’s lives by putting them on the right path to health and recovery. His own path now needs support over the next few months because of the medical treatments he is undergoing and the recovery time he requires. He is not the kind to ask for anything, having been a giver all his life… but now, on his behalf, we the people who love him and value what he has done for all of us, ask for your help — ask for all of our help. For the time Kamran will need to get back to full health this year — to the point where he can, once again, be fully helping and healing others — he needs financial support for bills, recovery, living costs, and medical and holistic care since he cannot regularly work during this time. We all are praying for healing — and he is motivated and positive thanks to the love and support he has witnessed and experienced.
