Support Dr. Kang's Vision Mission in Roatán

I am very excited to announce that I have been invited to join Health in Sight Mission with Dr. Paul C. Kang, MD, Cornea and Refractive Surgery specialist, for a mission trip in Roatán, Honduras in August 2024. It has been a dream of mine to help make a difference in communities that are suffering from vision loss.

During the week in Roatán, Dr. Kang will be providing life-changing cataract surgery to patients with little-to-no access to eye care.

Cataracts are the leading cause of blindness worldwide but is fairly simple to treat with surgical intervention. I will be screening the patients for candidacy for surgery, refracting patients for glasses, and assisting in surgery.

I am reaching out to my community for help in gathering donations that will be used towards medical resources (supplies, medication, etc.) transportation, and lodging.
