Support Dr. Romero

As many of you know, our friend Dr. Romero (who we in the E.D. consider to be “The Commander”) had had a rough ride since April. Dr. Romero has been diagnosed with breast cancer and is undergoing chemotherapy. Myself, along with several other male members of the NCH ED Team (Dr's, RN's, Paramedics, Registration, etc) have agreed to let her shave our heads if we reach our fundraising goal. A portion of the funds will be used to offset the living expenses for her and her family as well as any uncovered medical treatment The balance will be donated to the Iron Pigs Nemours Childrens Cancer Fund.
