Support Dr. Victoria Seewaldt: Help Rebuild After the California Fires
Dr. Victoria Seewaldt, an extraordinary physician-scientist, advocate, mentor, and humanitarian, has tragically lost her home to the devastating California fires. Known for her kind and giving spirit, Dr. Seewaldt, her husband, and their beloved chickens were able to evacuate safely, but their home and everything in it were destroyed.
Dr. Seewaldt’s life has been dedicated to uplifting others and creating a more compassionate and equitable world. She has worked tirelessly to empower women at high risk for breast cancer, offering free education, screening, and treatment and mentoring underrepresented scholars to pursue careers in medicine and science. Her commitment has even taken her across the globe, including to Palestine, where she provided free care to women battling breast cancer.
Her incredible generosity doesn’t stop at her professional life. Dr. Seewaldt, a vegetarian who embraces simplicity and care for all living beings, comes from a diverse and deeply compassionate background. With a Jewish father and Catholic mother, she has always believed in the strength of inclusivity and understanding. Together with her Quaker husband and only child, she lives her values through action. She and her daughter have volunteered with Habitat for Humanity, building homes for those in need in Asheville, North Carolina.
Dr. Seewaldt’s warmth and humanity extend to all she meets. Whether in her professional role as a trailblazing physician-scientist or in her personal mission to give back to her community, she has touched countless lives.
Now, she needs our help. By donating, you’re not just helping Dr. Seewaldt rebuild her home and life; you’re investing in someone who has always gone above and beyond to lift others. No amount is too small, and every dollar will help her rebuild her home and her ability to continue making a profound difference in the lives of others.
Please donate generously to help Dr. Seewaldt. Whether you’re inspired by her fight for health equity, her humanitarian efforts, or her personal strength and resilience, your support will have ripple effects far beyond this moment. Together, we can show her the same love and compassion she has always given to others.
Let’s help her rebuild. Every contribution matters. Thank you for your generosity.
