Support Drew As He Battles Glioblastoma

Dear family, friends, and compassionate souls,

My name is Paula Naputano. I'm Drew's aunt, setting this up on his behalf.

Drew went to the ER in May for debilitating, persistent headaches and nose bleeds. Shockingly, he was diagnosed with an inoperable malignant glioblastoma in his frontal lobe.

He has since started chemotherapy but cannot receive the more aggressive treatments he needs due to very low immune system function. He had a PET scan on June 28th, which showed the tumor has grown and spread to his cervical spine and cervical lymph nodes.

Drew can no longer walk without the assistance of a cane and his ability to perform daily tasks has been severely compromised. He can no longer work and has not yet been approved for disability. Even though most of his medical is covered by Medicaid (thank God), he's unable to provide day-to-day necessities for himself or his children at this time. Additionally, Medicaid doesn't cover most alternative options of care, like supplements to boost his immune system and natural alternatives to opioid pain meds.

Drew served in the Army as a Military Policeman and has been working in the trades for the past several years. He's a hard worker and a kind soul, who would give the shirt off of his own back to help another.

Drew's positivity in the face of adversity has been truly admirable and we'd greatly appreciate any assistance that would help him and his family through this difficult time. Thank you all for your support!
