Support Drew Magnuson's Road to Recovery

I am Alicia Lester, I am Drew Magnuson’s mother. Drew is known as @doctor.tattoos on Instagram and has traveled North America: from Colorado to North Carolina, Mobile to West Virginia and more - practicing and sharing his art form with thousands of his favorite people. His art form is his passion and is always at work at it if he is awake.

Drew suffered a single car accident the morning of Thursday, February 20, 2025 resulting in a left hip and right ankle surgery. His car was totaled, which included much of his art tools, paints, and designs. Thankfully he lived to live another life - he is a survivor.

As a career artist - Drew lives day to day by his work. He will be out of work for 6-8 weeks due to the healing process of his hip and not being able to sit lower than a 90 degree angle; all of his work is at 45 degrees or below - bending over clients for that detailed and beautiful work. Without work, he will lose his home. He is also now without a car.

When he is able to drive again, this is his form of transportation to and from work, and to conventions and traveling gigs. Speaking of traveling, he was to attend the Cleveland Tattoo convention beginning next weekend where he expected to cover a few months bills from this event. Without this experience, again, he will lose every thing.
