Support Ducky Radik's Battle Against Cancer

What began last January as simple visits to a chiropractor for help with a pinched nerve, quickly took our friend down a path that would alter her life.

For nearly 18 years, Ducky Radik has been contributing and making a difference for advisors, their clients, and her stakeholders at Carson. Ducky has made a positive impact on Carson and the people who have worked with her throughout her tenure. When she started in June of 2006, there were less than 20 Carson stakeholders and now her Carson family has grown to more than 400! Apart from her Carson family, Ducky is married to Michael and gets puppy dog love from her 8-year-old boxer, Daisy.

Ducky’s chiropractor visits began to cause more pain which prompted physical therapy evaluation leading to the first of multiple MRIs. After enduring imaging, scans, x-rays, and biopsies, she continued to experience debilitating pain and a decrease in appetite. Ducky was ultimately diagnosed with Metastatic Breast Cancer that spread to her pelvis, hips, femurs, and spinal cord. Due to the aggressive nature of this disease, her medical team is encouraging an aggressive treatment plan.

For those of you who know Ducky, you know her to be a strong, intelligent, and very independent woman. But in the wake of this distressing news, even our strong Ducky needs our help.
