Support During Cody Casey’s Recovery

Donation protected
Specialist Cody Casey endured multiple injuries in a crash while serving as part of the National Guard’s SMART (stranded motorist assist response team) program on February 15, 2021. The team was working to aid motorists during the severe weather conditions when their humvee was hit by a semi near Vinita, OK.

Casey was taken to a Missouri hospital with an open leg fracture, broken pelvis, bleeding spleen, multiple fractured vertebrae, and broken ribs. He has undergone two surgeries to repair his leg and hip socket, with an estimated recovery time of 6-12 months. Because of the severity of his injuries, Casey will likely need a wheelchair for 12+ weeks and be unable to work for the foreseeable future.

Casey previously deployed to Afghanistan and now works as a Deputy with Tulsa County. He is a devoted husband to Ariel and father to three children, Loralie (10), Damien (9), and Ophelia (4). He loves his community and is a Den Leader in a local Cub Scout Pack.

This fundraiser was set up as a response to an outpouring of love and support for the Casey family, and the Casey family will be direct beneficiaries of all funds.

Please give as you can, and keep the Casey family in your prayers as they navigate the recovery process.
