Support Dylan on his Journey to Recovery

Donation protected
Hello, this is Rindy. My daughter’s boyfriend Dylan, unfortunately was involved in a skiing accident. My hope is to reach out to friends, family, and our community to spread the word in supporting Dylan. He means the world to our family. We would love all the support to help him on his journey to recovery. To help you know a little bit about Dylan, here are some kind words from his mom Amy❤️

My friends, I want you to know, that to try and live as a pro skier, is to live right at the edge of danger.
It agonizes me to be writing these words, and I know Dylan would absolutely insist that “he doesn’t need any help!”, or that he would rather no one feel obligated to help
him. But, we are devastated to have to explain what Dylan is facing.
As you might know, Dylan is a true elite athlete, with world class abilities as a skier, but beyond and above that, has so much light, utter joy for skiing, and truly, lives so fully, and so bravely.
He is a beautiful, giving, caring, funny, smart, wild, & mischievous friend, son, and human.
On Wednesday, May 1, Dylan was filming a gap launch at Bridger Bowl, the home Mt. near Bozeman, which was a 50 foot jump. There was an unseen hazard just under foot on his takeoff point, and it shot him off his trajectory.
He hit a tree midair, and smashed to the snow. The impact has broken his cervical spine and 3 vertebrae in his thoracic spine, one has shattered in 4 places.
Somehow, so luckily, our boy has no damage to his spinal cord or brain. We are beyond grateful that it wasn’t worse.
But, he is in a neck collar and full body brace, and in immense pain.
Dylan had planned to work at a hard physical job all summer, which he needs to make enough money to live and pay for school in Bozeman.
Now, Dylan is facing hard work and expense of the hospital, the therapy, so he can regain as much as he possibly can. We know a full recovery is possible.
We want to ask you to help us raise what he would have made this summer, so he can have a small peace of mind focusing on healing and school.
Please donate what you feel you can, and we beg you to share, send, alert, and spread this gofundme, and Dylans story far and wide.
Please help us get Dylan healed and on his feet. Let him feel the support and love of his community… skiers and beyond.
