Support Early Educators on the Front Line

Since being established in 2019, Ellie's Academy has been at the center of Somerville, New Jersey, serving families from all backgrounds. While enrolled at our school, our littlest learners (ages 0-5) are engaged in our curriculum which focuses on their developmental needs. Our school's philosophy inspires everyone who is part of our Academy, to act as an extension of your family. We find it very important to provide on-going care for our little ones, as their parents serve the front line during this COVID-19 crisis.

We are starting this GoFundMe, as a #SmallBusinessRelief. Because of COVID-19, many of our families have been displaced from their jobs, hours have been cut, or they have been forced to stay home & assist their older child(ren) with online-schooling. And even thru this process, our expenses and overheads remain the same.

To us, there are two items which are most important: (1) the children who attend our childcare center are still being taught and progressing in their development, and (2) our teachers remain whole. All of our teaching staff survive on their paychecks and putting food on their tables. We hope to raise $60,000 to pull us through the next 2 months (or more if we can raise more), and support our teachers thru this process, and keep our doors open for the families are serving the front line during this pandemic, and need our services during this time.
