We are reaching out to our local community and neighbors and asking for support. Our beloved shop was broken into night of May 20th. Thankfully the damage and financial impact could have been worse; though it is still significant on our backend.

We are hoping to raise the funds to replace our POS system and the amount that was taken from the register.

Our Story

In 2020 the East Village Cafe (formally the Village Grind) reopened with new ownership and a new vision. Today, the cafe is women owned and operated. Providing the Arts District in downtown Long Beach a communal space for those to connect over a latte or fresh bagel.
