Support Ebenezer Primary School, Tanzania
Donation protected
As many of you know I’m currently spending a month in Tanzania volunteering with IVHQ at a local school in Arusha called Ebenezer Primary.
The school currently has 117 children ranging in age from 2-13. Many of the children are orphans or come from very poor families. Despite this, they all share a love of school and are so excited to learn. Unfortunately, Ebenezer is just one of many schools that are severely underfunded and lack essential resources.
It’s hard to explain without being here and seeing the impact but a small amount of money can go such a long way. The goal is to provide more children’s books, curriculum workbooks and English dictionaries for the school as well as updating some of the classrooms and the outdoor play area. We’d also like to provide each student with a new notebook, pen, pencil, eraser and sharpener which costs roughly $1.75 aud per student. Any leftover money will go to the local orphanage or women’s outreach program that provides food for the most vulnerable women in Arusha. Roughly $50 aud will feed a family for 2-4 weeks.
Any donations will be greatly appreciated
