Support Ebon's Type 1 Diabetes Care

Hello loved ones,

After much thought and painful realization of rising costs, I have decided to set up a Medical fund for Ebon to support his Type 1 Diabetes . Many of you have asked over the years, how best to help or support or thank me for labor. Or simply want to help offset the stress of Type 1 parenting life. I am so grateful for this.

I to this day, do not need a thing. How I show up in communities and relationships is simply who I am and have never wanted anything in return. Including any labor in support of the marginalized. I will never put a dollar amount to any of this. I will remain steadfast for the causes I stand by, without any expectation in return. Its part of my value system.

I feel much more open to any donation you wish to make, to go directly to my baby's medical costs. This is a very expensive disease in the US. And the costs are now insurmountable. I am also not able to work full time as he needs insulin shots and medical support that makes childcare options very limited. Between premiums and medical supply costs, this disease costs us several thousands and we are constantly at risk for losing his insurance coverage entirely.

I appreciate any support you freely wish to give. I am raising funds right now to keep his health insurance going. I considered simply giving out the link for his health insurance website so you know where this money will go, transparently. There is no option for that and so using this as the next best one. This money is directly for Ebon's insurance/diabetes supplies and goes to an account set up just for him.
