Dear friends, family, and fellow Union brothers and sisters. I am reaching out to you today on behalf of our dear friend and union brother, Eduardo Aranda. As an apprentice with Local 597 Pipefitters, Eddie has been a dedicated and hardworking individual, committed to his craft and his fellow colleagues. Now, he is facing an extraordinary challenge—one that requires our collective support and compassion.

Eddie has been diagnosed with cancer, a battle that has taken a significant toll on him and his family. Eddie has been out of work since April 2024 and will continue to be out of work as he undergoes intensive treatment. The medical expenses continue to rise, placing a heavy financial burden on them. Our goal is to raise $50,000 to help cover the costs of his treatment and ensure Eddie can focus on his recovery without the added stress of financial strain.

Eddie is not just a union brother to us; he is a father of 2, ages 4 and 11 and also a husband of his long time love of 15 years. He is a friend who has consistently shown kindness, strength, and resilience.
