Support Eddie during his recovery

Calling all cars, guitars and electricity loving stars!

A very wonderful man, the light bearing and effervescent, always on the go – Self-employed Electrician and do-gooder [tireless musical community technical supporter] Eddie Van Surksum woke up a couple days ago unable to move his body. A CT scan revealed that he has broken his back at L2, L3 (with a probable collapse disc between the two) and has a spinal infection.

Unfortunately he has no insurance and this part is going to really hurt him as much as the physical pain he’s already in.

We’d like to ask anyone able to dig deep and help fill up his bucket to put out the financial fires he’s looking at for these medical bills, as well as the fact that his $2500 rent is due in a couple weeks and he has no physical way to respond to his many customers request for his electrician services without an operative spine.

Eddie is doing his best to stay positive and calm, but is flat on his back in a hospital ward in a world of pain and stress. Thank you so much for sending his spine all the mending and healing light you can imagine, prayers and perhaps also some cold hard cash to keep a roof over his head.
