Support Team Eddie K Fight Against Leukemia
Donation protected
Mid Valley alumni and Roanoke College sophomore Eddie Kaufman, was diagnosed with T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia last summer. The diagnosis is a form of cancer that impacts blood, tissue, and bone marrow.
Months into his fight, Kaufman is now in search of a blood stem cell donor through the National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP). Anyone ages 18-40 can be a potential donor by first partaking in a free home swab test or attending an event to be swabbed to determine if they are a match.
Eddie and his family have been living at CHOP and trying to continue to work to pay for medical bills, fuel, hotels, and other miscellaneous expenses not covered by insurance. We appreciate you donating ANY amount so they can focus on his care.
He will need medical care, visits to CHOP and additional procedures for the next 2 years. Please help us, help them.
An event is also scheduled for June 21, 2025. Check our web site for updates. www.TeamEddieK.com.
