Support Edinburgh Food Social & The Pitt Musicians
Donation protected
Slow Down Sundays is coming to you social distancing style. We are raising money via this GoFundMe page for our live stream performers and our now resident food charity Edinburgh Food Social and their partners in the Food for Good Coalition.

Due to the closing of music venues & bars musicians and performers have lost a large amount of income nationwide. Unfortunately there hasn't been much government help for the creative industries and those who make a living from them. We want to help out, by streaming performances right to your living rooms with the chance for you to DONATE.
We have an incredible mix of local musicians performing from 12-6pm on facebook live.
They include Paul Dennington of Wolfnote, Baron Salmon, Bell Lungs, Craig Finnie, Peter Menzies, Daniel Garcia Fernandez, poet Layla Josephine, Iona Zajac of Avocet, James Rutherford of Movers International/Main Ingredient, Roberta Pia of The Banana Sessions, Backlash after Backlash \\\\\ & Angelica Black. The day will be a perfect balance of Scottish songwriters, folk and experimental, ambient electronica.
We want to connect our Pitt community whilst the lockdown is happening, and emulate a weekend with us at the venue. This will be our 3rd event, and we hope to raise another £500+ for the cause.
We'll be delivering bbq feasting platters all day! Pre order is 100% necessary. Only a limited amount available for our first shot. for menu and ordering food
Food For Good groups are emerging nationwide and the Edinburgh coalition, who we are raising for, consists of these different charities; Edinburgh Food Social, Nourishing Change, Slow Food Scotland & The Edinburgh Food Festival. They believe that:
"Even in times of global challenge, we maintain that no one should fall through the cracks. Good food should be available to all. Though it is paramount that we all take the NHS recommended precautions, no one should feel isolated from nourishment."
They support partner organisations in meal production and distribution through local/community drop offs and emergency door to distribution to ensure that those most vulnerable don't fall through the gaps of the existing service provision.
We want to give you food & music so that others can get food. Good deal, right?
